Currently, there are up to 1,400 people in camps along the Serb-Croatian border, of which about 200 are families with small children. On the other hand, some families stay in Sid for up to 10 months, in a transit camp.
During the visit to this area, we provide emotional support, information and humanitarian assistance with the support of the Open Society Foundation, Serbia, and within the project “Emergency multisector support to migrants / asylum seekers / person who received asylum status in response to the COVID-19 crisis”, with special attention to mothers and women who travel alone and who are under constant humanitarian and health and safety risks.
