The APC/CZA team, comprised of legal and psychosocial experts works all across northern Serbia. APC/CZA visits locations across the country in order to monitor the Serbian-Croatian and Serbian-Hungarian borders and combat the illegal push backs of refugees to Serbia.
The APC/CZA team provides legal advice and psychosocial support for the refugees who have been illegally pushed back to Serbia. Moreover, APC/CZA assists the refugees by informing them how to navigate the asylum system, register at the police station, and aid their accommodation in one of the many reception centers
APC/CZA cooperates with local centers for social welfare and maintains close contact with social workers who assist many of the unaccompanied minors sleeping in the open without any food, water, or appropriate clothing. This work can better accommodate and protect the refugees during their stay in one of Serbia’s many reception centers. In doing so, APC/CZA can better connect the refugees with necessary health care and medical assistance.
